EroHealthCare ensure when we take on a new member of staff,

They already attained or are willing to undergo the Skills for Care Induction Standards training which complies with the Care Quality Commissions essential Standards of Quality and Safety. As well as Health and Social Care Act 2008.  The Carers have either attained their NVQ/QCF or working toward attaining their qualification.

We ensure all of our carers are trained with core courses in:


· First Aid Awareness

· Health and Safety

· Moving and Handling

· Medication

· Adult Safeguarding Awareness / Challenging behaviour

· Dementia (the person centred approach)

· Fire Safety 

· Food Hygiene

· Infection Control

· Hoist Training



When we employ a new care worker, they undergo a comprehensive training schedule and in-house training where they are educated in all mandatory training.

All carers are supervised every two months and have annual appraisals together with ongoing monitoring check and provide training based recommendations and any specialist training tailored around our clients needs.
